Irene Mercuri (nee Tomasko), age 90 of Eastlake, passed away August 26th, 2024 at Ohman Family Living at Holly Hill surrounded by her family. She was born March 30th, 1934 in Monarch, PA to the late Michael and Helen Tomasko.
Irene was a homemaker and a devout catholic. She was a former parishioner at St. Casmir Church in Cleveland and a parishioner at St. Justin Martyr Church in Eastlake. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family.
Irene was the loving wife of the late Frank Mercuri Jr.; beloved mother of Rose (Leo) Sejnowski, Teresa (Richard) Damko and Frank (Patricia) Mercuri III; dearest grandmother of Angela (Damien) Horvath, Celeste (Steven) Wise, Julie (Jordan) Bogard, Frank IV and Christina Mercuri; great grandmother of Giovanni, William, Andrew, Penelope and Irene; sister of Rose Marie Necci and the late Michael Tomasko and Robert Tomasko; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All services for Irene were private. Burial at All Souls Cemetery.
