James E. Lindhurst

James E. Lindhurst, age 82 of Concord, passed away August 18^th, 2024 at Hospice of the Western Reserve surrounded by his family. He was born March 17^th, 1942 in Niagara Falls, New York to the late Ken and Marjorie Lindhurst.

Jim retired from Lincoln Electric after 45 years of service.

Jim served 6 years as an Army National Guard of Ohio Veteran, Specialist 4^th class. He then studied electronics. He enjoyed camping with his family and had a passion for music. He played the piano, the organ and had a beautiful singing voice. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where he served as the treasurer for 10 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church for over 30 years where he sang in the choir.

Jim was the loving husband of 59 years to Joan Helana Lindhurst (nee Lange); beloved father of Jeffrey C. (Farahnaz) Lindhurst and Mark (Lisa) Lindhurst; dearest grandpa of Brianna and Jared Lindhurst, Jake and Josh Rogowski; brother of Diane (Norman) Traub and Robert (Susan) Lindhurst; brother-in-law of Lee (Diane) Lange and James Lange; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

The Lindhurst family will receive family and friends from 3:00 – 5:00 PM Sunday, August 25^th, 2024 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 26^th, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Monday before the funeral service. Burial will follow at Mentor Cemetery.
