James Harrison Huffman Sr., age 65 of Concord Twp. and formerly of Eastlake, peacefully passed away May 27th, 2022 at Hospice of The Western Reserve after a two year heroic battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born September 8th, 1956 in Cleveland to the late James and Esther Huffman.
Jim worked at Copper and Brass in Cleveland for over 32 years.
Jim was a 1975 Graduate of Eastlake North High School. He was a former baseball coach for Northeast Cleveland Little League and for Villa Angela St. Joseph High School. He proudly graduated from Little League Umpire School in Williamsport, PA and became a little league umpire. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, while being the best Dad, Papa and brother for his family. He was a huge Cleveland sports fan and he loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Jim was the loving husband of 45 years to Kathi Huffman (nee Monro); dearest father of Jimmy H. (Lauren) Huffman Jr. and Jamie (Brett) Vitas; cherished grandfather of Julia, Kendal and Raegan Huffman, Makayla and Jaxson Vitas; brother of Donna (Joe-deceased) Gay, Dorretta (Tom) Jenkins, Ruth (Ed-deceased) Mandato, Judy (Ed) Bash and the late Robert “Butch” Willard; brother in law of Ken Monro and the late Bill (Ellen) Milligan; uncle of many.
The Huffman family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Concord Cemetery.
Donations can be made in Jim’s name to Concord Girls Softball League, 538 Poplar Lane, Painesville Township, OH 44077

Jim was a good guy, he would do anything for you. It breaks my heart hearing of this news about Jim. I was Jim’s friend and coworker at Copper&Brass Sales for over 35yrs. RIP my friend.
