James R. McGee, age 71 of Painesville, passed away December 10, 2016.

James was retired from the auto parts market. He was a member of the Bible Community Church in Mentor and a member of Cordial Connections.

He is survived by his sons, Kenneth R. McGee and James R. (Janet) McGee Jr.; grandchildren, Jenna and Amanda McGee; brother in law, Bud Velichka; many nieces and nephews; former wife, Carol McGee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William R. and Helen (nee Sopko) McGee; sisters Dolores Velichka and Judy McGee.

Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, December 16, 2016 at Bible Community Church, 8600 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Thursday at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
