Jared “Ice” Via, age 41 of Euclid, passed away October 12th, 2022. He was born December 24th, 1980 in Denver, Colorado.
Jared was proud of his Croatian heritage and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He was a graduate of VASJ. He loved his family and friends. Their kids called him “Uncle Ice”.
Jared was the loving son of Patty Luksic; beloved brother of Sara Luksic (nee Via); grandson of the late George and Mildred Luksic, Phyllis Via and the late James Via; dearest uncle of Michael Via and Tommy Farrell; nephew of Brother Ron Luksic and Deb (Tim) Lalancette; cousin of Patrick Lalancette and Matt (Katie) Lalancette; loving companion of Janelle Colini and her daughters Jiana, Lia and Miya.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 AM Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at St. John of The Cross Church, 140 Richmond Rd., Euclid. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the church. Burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
