Keith J. Jurcago, age 48 of Painesville, formerly of Mentor, passed away suddenly, November 11th, 2022 at Tripoint Medical Center in Concord. He was born January 15th, 1974 in Euclid to the late Raymond and Frances Jurcago.

Keith was a Data Analyst at Progressive Insurance for over 20 years.

Keith was a devoted husband, brother and uncle. He enjoyed hosting nephew nights, where he was known as “Uncle Smack” and loved swimming with his niece and nephew who nicknamed him “Uncle Seaweed”. “Sticks” #11, will be greatly missed by his softball family and many friends.

Keith is the loving husband of Krista Jurcago; dearest brother of Karen Jurcago, Raymond (Adriane) Jurcago and Robert (Jill) Jurcago; beloved uncle of Nathan (Sierra), Nolan, Adam, Alex and Drew Jurcago, Anthony and Samantha Peters; son-in-law of Sarah (Tony-deceased) Ritchie; brother-in-law of Monica (Steve) Peters; beloved dog and best friend “Duke”.

The Jurcago family will receive friends from 2:00 – 6:00 PM Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:30 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

In Keith’s memory, the family asks that kindness be shared by all.

His light and laughter will never be forgotten.

    Keith was so vibrant always. Handsome with the best smile and such kind eyes. We enjoyed spending time with Keith and all the Jurcago family. We are shocked at his passing. The world lost a bright light. Sending Love especially to Krista and Karen Bob Ray and Jill. Feel our prayers for all.

    Even though I haven’t seen Keith since he was a young boy, I remember his smile. My mom was his dad’s cousin ( Dorothy Nalepa). Our grandmothers were sisters & my memories are from family reunions. Praying fir his family & wife.

    Our deepest condolences to Krista, and to Krista and Keith’s family. Keith’s kindness was known to all in our neighborhood. He had a smile and a friendly word for everyone he passed, while out taking walks with Duke. He will be dearly missed.

    I remember Keith well in Jr. High and High School – always the nicest kid. I also got to work with him as adults at
    Progressive and he didn’t change a bit –
    always smiling, courteous, and willing to help – a genuinely good person. My deepest
    sympathy goes out to Karen and your entire family. ❤️

  10. Known this guy since I was 14 him picking me up in that all black Maxima. Loved the guy. Keith never had a bad thing to say about anyone. When I heard the news it hit hard. He will be missed by everyone for sure. Prayers to the family and as I’m sure y’all know he was one of the great ones ❤️

  11. I fondly remember Keith delivering the newspaper at my door with his Mom by his side. An all American looking kid with a great smile . He later dog sat for us and was a family friend . I was so saddened to hear of his passing . May family find comfort in fond memories . Rest In Peace dear Keith .

    Keith was such an encourager and cheerleader. He would greet me with a “SteveO!” and smile. Always a listener with a positive take. He was always very gracious and helpful whether he was helping me move or helping me golf!⛳️ So blessed to have him in our family. Sending prayers and sympathies.
