Kristine M. Kerr (nee Racine), age 40 of Mentor, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 12th, 2026. She was born June 3, 1985 in Euclid, OH to Dennis and Victoria, Kristine was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was someone who could put a smile on anyone’s face.

Before facing her battle with brain cancer, she was an amazing esthetician and makeup artist. She graduated from the Brown Aveda Institute in Mentor. She spent most of her career at Jenniffer and Company before branching out to start her own business. Continuing her passion of making people feel better about themselves. She was hard-working, dedicated to her family, and always volunteering to help others.

Her personality was one that will remain with us forever. She loved 80’s rock music, being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. Even during her hardest times, Kristine was still dancing and cracking jokes.

Kristine was the loving mother of Alaina; beloved daughter of Victoria Racine and Dennis (Vicki) Racine; cherished sister of Katherine (Tommy) Thompson; dearest auntie to Cade; granddaughter of Richard (Tina) Koncler and the late Roberta Koncler, and the late Florence and Leopold Racine; niece and cousin to many.

The Racine family will receive family and friends from 2:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, May 15th, 2026 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville OH. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mentor Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kristine’s name to Western Reserve Hospice Care in Cleveland, Ohio www.reserve-care.org
