With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Linda Ann Lutz (nee Everetts) at the age of 62 in Mentor-on-the-Lake on December 22nd, 2023. She passed away peacefully at the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by her loving family. Linda graced this world with her presence, kindness, and unwavering dedication to others. Linda’s journey began on January 17th, 1961, in Cleveland, OH, born to the late James and Ann Everetts. Her life was marked by a profound commitment to service and compassion. Linda was a veteran who honorably served in the Army as a 91C1T (Practical Nurse) for six years, dedicating herself to caring for others. Following her military service, she pursued her passion for nursing, earning an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Lakeland Community College. Her impact extended for two decades as a beloved nurse at Cleveland Clinic Hospital before her retirement. Linda’s heart overflowed with love for others, placing their needs above her own. She exemplified resilience and strength as she triumphed over breast cancer, embodying a spirit that touched all who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness as the devoted, loving mother of Christopher Lutz and Jeremy Lutz; beloved sister of Joanne (Tom) Hancock and Dan (Beth) Everetts; dearest aunt of Robert (Rachel) Everetts, Juliann Everetts, Katie McKeever, Tara Marvar and Timmy McKeever; great aunt of Madilyn Everetts, Julia Everetts, and Cody Altizer; former wife and dear friend of Ronald Lutz Jr.; daughter in law of Joyce and Ronald Lutz Sr.; sister-in-law of Kathy Lutz; friend of Kathie Fong and Chris Prall.

The Lutz Family would like to invite family and friends for a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at Faith United Methodist Church, 300 9th Street NW, North Canton, OH 44720. 1. Linda was my friend through my daughter Chris Prall. Linda was a lovely lady that found laughter and seriousness when we were together. Whatever made me change her name to Nancy I’ll never know but that’s how we conversed. In jest of course.
We will miss you Nancy. Rest in Peace.

Linda and I were co-workers at the Cleveland Clinic. She was the best nurse to work with and to mentor. I loved her laugh and spirit. She always put caring for her patients first. We became good friends and kept in touch after I followed my husband and his military career. She loved her boys more than anything in this world. Chris, she loved everything you have given her.
    Until we meet again, Linda.
