I remember Aunt Wanda as a force of nature who rode in on a white horse to do what needed to be done! Her kindness to the Tinker women was epic!
Your Mother was so helpful, selfless, patient and kind. Heaven has a new angel!
God bless Marlene. When we decorate the church this year at St. Casimir, she will be surely missed but I think we will all sense her presence.
Dear John, Julie and Joe,
My sincere condolences to you on the death of your dear mom, How well I remember the Fliters and all the many ways that they helped at St. Gabriel’s. Marlene was a great playground mom and treat maker! She was so proud of each and all of you too! I can only imagine how much you will miss her. Nevertheless, she is still a very big part of your life. Watch for it.
With much love and prayers,
Sister Mary Lisa Novak, SND
(Your former principal)
