Martha “Marti” Jane DiLiberto (nee Clements), age 73 of Cleveland, passed away suddenly on May 2nd, 2022. She was born July 27th, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the late Pius and Violet Clements.
Marti loved her family, her grandchildren more than anything and even her grand dogs Quincy and Scooby. An avid lover of music, she was funny, she had the patience of a saint, she was unique and selfless and was loved by all. She touched the hearts of anyone who knew her. She marched to the beat of her own drum and taught her children and grandchildren to find their own rhythm.
Marti was the loving wife of 45 years to Robert DiLiberto; beloved mother of Michael (Molly) DiLiberto and Christina (Buddy) Akita; dearest grandmother of Harrison and Indra DiLiberto, Mariko and Hiro Akita; cherished sister of Carol (Dick) Hennis, Larry (Carol) Clements, Denny (Margie) Clements and the late Billy Clements; sister in law of Alan (Mary Lou) DiLiberto, Daniel (Marilyn – deceased) DiLiberto; aunt of many.
The DiLiberto family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A Funeral Mass will held at 10 AM Friday at St. Jerome Church, 15000 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland. Private burial at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
Martha Jane was an angel on earth and has now earned her wings.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal of Jeff Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

I just learned about Marti’s sudden passing …so sorry I did not make it to the services…I can’t imagine the loss you are feeling…big hugs to Bob, Michael and Christina…her smiling face at Fotina’s always felt like a neighborhood blessing… DiLibertos have been North Collinwood anchor family with Marti at the core…know she loved those grandkids…
