Martin “Marty” J. Fritsch Jr., of Perry, passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 68. He was the beloved husband of Rollin L. Jarrett. Marty was the life of the party and had a smile that could light up any room. He enjoyed camping and dancing, and he was a master decorator. Marty always made others smile with his booming laughter or one of his big hugs and kisses. He will be deeply missed by those who love him.

Survivors include his husband, Rollin Jarrett; stepchildren, Lisa (Richard) Craxton and Rebecca Dowd; three grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Sinkovic, Joseph Craxton, and Courtney Dowd; siblings Cathy (Mike) Pietila, Debbra (Vic) Peroni, and Michael (Sarah) Fritsch; and dear friend Mary Jo Jarrett. Marty also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and sisters and brothers-in-law. He is preceded in death by his father, Martin Fritsch, mother, Mary Ann Fritsch, and nephews, Marc Ackley and Mike Harwood.

Marty’s family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 1:30 PM. The final resting place will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland, Ohio.

    I just found out about “Bubby”. You all have my deepest sympathy. He was always so much fun, when we got together, as children! I can still hear his laughter! Your cousin, Cynthia
