Max Joseph Womack

Max Joseph Womack, age 19 of Montville, formerly of Mentor, passed away April 18th, 2026 at home. He was born on September 1st, 2006 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts. to loving parents Jay and Jacqui Womack.

Max was a graduate of Berkshire High School (Class of 2025). He was attending Ohio Technical College working toward being a master mechanic. He also worked as a mechanic at Preston Chevy in Burton.

Max loved riding his motorcycle and working on anything he could get his hands on. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike and bonfires with his family and friends.

Max was the loving son of Jay Womack and Jacqui Womack (nee Rink); beloved brother of Madeline Womack; dearest grandson of Jay (Tina) Womack and Denise Womack, Dorothy Altemus and the late Frank Rink; cherished nephew of Josh (Lauren) Womack, Michael (Rachel Gokey – fiancée) Womack, Mike Rink, and Patrick (Jessie) Rink; cousin of Charlie and Judson Rink, Jack and Bella Kirby, Ewald Belz, Cassidy Taylor and Zach Keel.

The Womack family will receive family and friends from 12 Noon – 7:00 PM Sunday, April 26th, 2026 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 27th, 2026 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made in Max’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org
