May O. Arnold (nee Bryant), 90 years old, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at Mt. St. Joseph Rehabilitation and Nursing surrounded by family. She was born July 9th, 1932 in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Dollie (nee Frazier) and Henry Lee Bryant.

May was a lifetime resident of Lake County she lived in Willowick and Eastlake. She was known as everyone’s grandma May, She was loved and will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by her ex-husband and best friend Carlos Arnold; daughter Ruth (Larry) Justice, son Rodger (Diane) Bowen, daughter Barbara (George) Auvil; granddaughters Lana (Jeff) Wade, Tracy (Art) Hamerick, Carrie (Brian) Hall, Jennifer (Nick) Timms, Melissa (Todd) Morris, Alicia (Christian) Scheel; grandsons Todd (Michelle) Justice, Christopher, Curtis (Courtney) DeGidio, Nicholas (Amanda) DeGidio; 28 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren; sister of Martha Adkins; aunt too many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son Curtis Bowen; son-in-law Larry Justice; sisters Ruth, Violet, Emil and Opal; brothers Ernest, Corbin and Carle.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial at Willoughby Memorial Gardens.

    I never met May but her daughter Barbara spoke so highly and lovingly of her. Godspeed May you are free of pain now.

  4. I am sorry that I missed the calling hours. I met May a couple of times. She was always smiling and very sweet. Thank you for sharing the beautiful video of her life. My condolences to all of the May’s family.
