Michael McNamara, age 63 of Mentor, passed away July 7th, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born July 30th, 1960 to the late Thomas and Margaret McNamara.
Mike was a Sales Professional for various companies throughout his working career.
Mike had the best sense of humor, was an avid Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed listening to all music, but most, “The Beatles”. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Mike was husband to Julia McNamara; loving father of Heather (Charles) Darnell and Sean (Jessie) McNamara; dearest grandfather of Riley and Charlie Darnell; beloved brother of Rose (Jack) Ambrose, Tommy (Andrea) McNamara and Eileen McNamara; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The McNamara family will receive friends and family from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, July 12th, 2024 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake (Please meet at the church).
The McNamara family has requested no formal dress at the visitation. Please wear your favorite Cleveland sports team apparel in Mike’s honor.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
