Pam graduated from the Towanda High School and went on to graduate from the Kathrine Gibbs School for secretarial training.
Pam married Robert Travis Martin on September 3, 1954, in Towanda Pa. They had 2 children, Robert Travis Martin Jr. and Janice Meredith Martin. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Joseph E. Ambrose III, Meredith Anne Ambrose, Robert Travis Martin III, and Hannie Beth Abesa Martin. At various times in her life Pam worked in Real Estate, as an administrative assistant at Eastern College and Sunoco Logistics. Pam also appeared in Pepsodent commercials no doubt because of her infectious smile. She enjoyed tennis, traveling and her family. Having moved over 30 times during her life with most of her time was spent in the Philadelphia area.
Pam took joy in maintaining a well-ordered home, usually decorated in shades of green and with various antiques collected from auctions throughout her life and art painted by her husband Bob. Her main focus and primary joy of her life was her children, both of whom will miss her dearly. We will also miss her cinnamon rolls which never had enough sugar and cinnamon goop.
Many knew Pam as a kind, giving, happy person who’s smile could light up a room. We would like to thank the staff of the Preserve and the Hospice of the Western Reserve for all their love kindness and giving toward the end day care of Pam.
Pam asked that there be no gatherings or formal funeral arrangements. She will be cremated and laid to rest in Towanda in a small private family gathering.
The family ask if you feel the need, please donate to the Hospice of the Western Reserve https://hospicewr.org/ She will be greatly missed.
