Patricia J. Brindza (nee Zima), age 80 of Painesville, peacefully passed away May 12th, 2024 at Tripoint Medical Center surrounded by her children. She was born July 31st, 1943  in Cleveland to the late Frank and Mary Zima.

Pat retired from Great Lake Cheese.

Pat was a friend of Bill W. for the past 39 years. Her homegroup was Pearl Street in Painesville where she was the past secretary for many years. Pat helped many women at the Oak House and enjoyed sponsoring women through the years.

Pat is the loving mother of Renee Reighard, Jeffrey Brindza and Laura (George Lott) Brindza; beloved sister of Rose Kotalik and the late Robert Zima and Barbara Vernon; dearest aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The Brindza family will receive friends from 2:00 – 5:00 PM Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

    I’m going to miss my Aunt Patt. I didn’t get close with her til the past 20 years but I have so many good memories with her and loved how she has been a loving aunt to me and my kids, just being there for us meant a lot. I’m going to miss her so much but I’ll always hold onto the good times.
