Peter G. Gudal, age 59 of Mentor, passed away July 1, 2017 at Homestead II in Painesville surrounded by his family. He was born October 1, 1957 to the late Irene and Peter Gudal.

Peter worked as a janitor for the Great Lakes Mall for 15 years. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Browns Fan.

He is the loving brother of Candy (Edward) Powell, Cheryl (Fred) Smith; dearest uncle of Denise Smith and Julie (Josh) Van Horn; great uncle of Grace; grandson of the late George and Mary Gudal, Bertha and John Hamilton; nephew of the late Gertrude (Bill) Parks and Helen (Steve) Siftar; cousin of Michael (Glenda) Parks, Michele (Lee) Armstrong, Steve Siftar and Kevin (Stacy) Siftar; extended family of Stephanie, Lena, Lisa and Brittany Flarida; best friend of Brian Intihar; loving dog owner of Sassy.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 6PM at The Abbey, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, located on the grounds of Jeff Monreal Funeral Home. VISITATION 2-6 PM Friday at The Abbey.

Donations can be made to University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, 11100 Euclid Ave., Cleveland OH 44106.

The family would like to thank Homestead II, Western Reserve Hospice and the Seidman Cancer Center at University Hospital for their loving care of Peter.

Peter requested that all who attend the visitation and memorial dress in Ohio State Buckeye attire.
