Richard P. Sutyak, age 77 of Eastlake, passed away peacefully February 18, 2017. Mr. Sutyak was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked and retired from Lincoln Electric after 37 years of service. He was a former member of the Chagrin River Salmon Association in Eastlake.

He is survived by his children, Michael (Kara) Sutyak, Lisa (Scott) Shaw and Jeffrey Sutyak; grandchildren, Nicholas and Evelyn Shaw, Laura and Allison Shaw; siblings, Janet (Sol) Waxman, Joanne (Louis) Husarik; many cousins, nieces and nephews; mother in law, Irene Soltis.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Sutyak (nee Soltis).

At Mr. Sutyak’s request, no services will be held.

    So very sad to hear. My thoughts go out to your family. Rich was a good person. Rich and Patricia were very sweet and kind people. Always there to help. They always had some kind words or thoughts to share along with wonderful smiles. To see them together was a treat because watching them you knew they were meant to be together and were best friends. God bless .
