Robert C. Sciko, age 84 of Eastlake, passed away peacefully October 9th, 2023 at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home. He was born August 8th, 1939 in Cleveland to the late John and Anna Sciko.

Bob worked at General Electric for many years, and finally retiring from NACL.

Bob was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a huge Notre Dame Football fan, he loved camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Bob was the loving husband for 41 years to Gloria Sciko (nee Parmertor); beloved father of Bob Sciko, Robyn (Greg) Mincek, Donna (Carl) Stahl, David Klemencic and the late Danny Klemencic; dearest grandfather of Lindsay Brown, Holly (Cesar) Sciko-Toro, Annie Klemencic, Stephanie Starman (Jaime), Stephen (Stephanie) Starman, Keaton Klemencic, Karsen Klemencic and the late Sarah Klemencic; great grandfather of twelve; brother of Eleanor Duffy and the late Phil and John Sciko; brother in law of Jim (Lillian) Parmertor and the late Bob (Jan) Parmertor; uncle to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, October 13th, 2023 at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home). A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday at The Abbey. A private burial at Mentor Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral & Cremation Services.

  2. To Aunt Gloria, Dave and I send our deepest condolences and lots of love. To the entire family, we are so sorry for your loss. We will be out of town this weekend so we can’t attend the service, but we keep you all in our hearts.
