Ronald J. Buehner, age 89 of Willoughby Hills, formerly of Mentor, passed away April 14th, 2024 at Burton Health Care Center. He was born August 12th, 1934 in Cleveland to the late Joseph and Marguerite Buehner.
Ron retired from LTV Steel after 30 years of service. He was also the former owner of B & B Meat Market on Grovewood Ave., Cleveland.
Ron was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a gentle soul, kind and loving, a true gentleman. He was a hard worker and a proud veteran. He enjoyed going to the casino and traveling with his wife. He most loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson.
Ron was the loving husband of 54 years to Mary Jo Buehner (nee Schaefer); dearest father of Alison (Glenn) Prostak and Mark (Michelle) Buehner; beloved papa of Nicholas Prostak and grand dog Max; brother of Robert (Julie), Joseph (Sandy) and the late Ken (Rosie); brother in law of Mary Kay (David-deceased) Schaefer and the late Mary Buehner; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
The Buehner family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. A Memorial Mass will follow at Noon at the church. Burial at Mentor Cemetery.
