Ronda R. Schaefer (nee Martich), age 54 of Eastlake, peacefully passed away January 17th, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was born February 5th, 1968 in Euclid to Dan and Wanda Martich.
Ronda was the world’s best homemaker, matriarch and camp counselor. She wasn’t afraid to call it like she saw it to anyone. She volunteered with her mom at “Meals on Wheels”. She also volunteered with her children at Broadmoor School and helping out with her buddy Jeff at Miracle League in Eastlake and was a huge part of his charity golf outing. Simply put, Ronda helped so many causes and anyone in need. She was a fighter who never gave up. She was an inspiration to anyone who knew her and she will be dearly missed.
Ronda was a 1986 graduate of Eastlake North High School. She and her husband also helped out with the North High Boosters for over 10 years while her children attended North High School.
Ronda is the loving wife of 30 years and best friend of Tom Schaefer; devoted mother of Mackenzy Schaefer, Owen Schaefer and Grace Schaefer; daughter of Dan and Wanda Martich; sister of Danyel (Duke) Rieth and Tom (Ann Marie) Martich; sister in law of Margie (Ernie) Wong, Mark (Ruth) Schaefer, Jeff Schaefer and Tammy (Danny) White; aunt of Diana Rieth, Emma, Danny and Nora Martich and many nieces and nephews; niece and cousin of many; loving pets Bo, Marshall, Hank and Millie.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2023 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., Mentor. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral & Cremation Services.

I am so sorry for your loss. I attended St. Justin Martyr with Ronda and have very fond memories of our years in school. Her life was filled with caring and compassion for others. Blessings and prayers for the family.
