Ruth Alice (Boggs) Schaller, 95, formerly of Linden, WV died April 24, 2018 surrounded by her family, following a long illness.
Born in Linden, WV on April 4, 1923, she and her twin sister Naomi were the youngest children of Rev. Anderson and Mistie Mae Boggs. Alice was the last surviving of 13 brothers and sisters. Her husband, Rolland (Ronnie) Schaller, predeceased her in Dec, 2008.
Ronnie and Alice were married in Cleveland, OH at the start of WWII. After Ronnie entered the service, Alice moved back to WV to live with her family for the duration of the war. Upon returning home from Germany, he and Alice moved back to Cleveland. Alice worked at the Pine Ridge Country Club for many years and upon retirement she and Ronnie moved to their farm in Linden, WV
They were both active members and deeply involved in the ministry of Epling Chapel. It is said that “fingerprints never fade from the lives we have touched.” Alice touched many lives in her 95 years.
Family members would like to thank the staff and management of Kirtland Rehabilitation in Kirtland, OH for their kindness and care.
Mrs. Schaller is survived by her four sons; David (Millie), Charles (Linda), William (Susan) and Terry (Karen); along with nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, April 27, 2018 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, 206 Beauty St., Spencer, West Virginia 25276. Funeral Mass 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial at Clover Cemetery.
Local arrangements entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.

So sorry to hear my friend Alice has passed. We shared many good times when I was her sidekick. Again so sorry for your loss
I will always remember that wonderful laugh Alice had. She was always happy. She will be missed. Rest in peace.
