Sally Ann Wilson (nee Feda), age 66 of Mentor on the Lake, passed away July 15th, 2021. She was born September 18th, 1954 in Cleveland to the late Mary and Walter Feda.

Sally loved her family, friends, church, bingo, and the occasional shot of whiskey. More than anything, she loved taking care of her five year old grandson, Lorenzo, who was the light of her life. Sally was one of a kind and always liked to tell it like it is. But mostly, she liked to tell you that she loved you. She will be greatly missed by so many.

Sally is the loving wife for 46 years of Gary Wilson Sr.; loving mother of Gary (Danielle) Wilson Jr. and Rebecca Wilson; cherished grandmother of Lorenzo Wilson; beloved sister of Susan (Tom) Geyer, Sandy (Henry) Demeza, Sheila (Wayne) Wilson, Michael Feda and Sharlene (Gary) Kirby; aunt to many and to the late Wayne Wilson.

The Wilson family will receive friends 4:00-8:00 PM Monday, July 19th, 2021 at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home). Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM Tuesday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. Please meet at the church. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to help cover funeral expenses. Any additional amounts will be donated to St. Jude’s.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Services.

Dear Gary, Danielle & Gary, Becky & Lorenzo,
Sending our love and prayers during this most difficult journey. Sally was a special person who lived life, loved all her family and friends, and a devout Catholic who attended Mass regularly. May God bless each of you with His great peace and many graces. Sally has now begun her “New Life” journey where I pray she is eternally happy. I’m going to miss her and all our family fun times we shared. ♥️ ♥️

We are very sorry that your family has lost a very loving and caring person in our lives. We know personally what it means to deal with the passing of a mother. You will be sitting around the table telling stories of Sally and laugh, cry and help each other to heal. Every picture I see of Sally, she was laughing. I think she would want her family to give her a happy send off by being with each other. Hugs to all!
