Sandra F. Jaffe (nee Mocarski), age 79 of Mentor, formerly of Eastlake, passed away February 10th, 2025 at Hospice of the Western Reserve with her family by her side. She was born October 31st, 1945 in Cleveland to the late Sylvia and Edward Mocarski.
Sandra and was a graduate of North High School. She retired from The Mill-Rose Company in 2014 after 26 years of service.
Sandra loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandson. She enjoyed watching their sporting events, school functions and family gatherings. She always looked forward to her Friday nights out with her lifelong friends and her Wednesday night at her ceramic class.
Sandra loved her furry companion, Finn; she spoiled him as much as she did her grandchildren and great grandson.
Sandra was the loving wife of the late Ronald A. Jaffe Sr.; beloved mother of Lisa (Chuck) Doremus, Lora Jaffe, Ronald (Michele Daniels) Jaffe Jr. and Mike (Jill) Jaffe; dearest grandmother of Brenden Porterfield, Dakota (Judilyn) Doremus, Lexi Hughes, Elleanna Snyder, Kayla Seidel-Jaffe, and Mikey Jaffe; great grandmother of Lucas Doremus.
The Jaffe family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, February 16th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
Sandra always had a smile on her face, even over the past few years facing many hurdles. She was a loyal friend of many and an amazing role model to her children. Her outgoing personality, strength, and determination was admired by her family and friends.

I enjoyed a 63 year friendship with Sandy. We met at North High School in January of1962. I was the new kid in school and she befriended me. She was the maid of honor at my wedding. May you rest in Peace dear friend. I know Ron,Sylvia and Ed are welcoming you into heaven with open arms.
Sandy was my beloved neighbor; she will be sorely missed.
