Theresia Wendel, age 92 of Mentor, passed away March 17, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 04, 1924 in Yugoslavia.

She was the loving wife for 65 years to the late Karl Wendel; loving mother of Erika (Dave) Volpin, Rose (Steve-deceased) Ugrinic and Karl (Anne) Wendel; dearest grandmother of Kristina Volpin, Michael Ugrinic, Nicholas Ugrinic, Kellie (Howard) Nelson, Kristie (Anthony) Zappitelli, Karl Joseph (Kristina Irene) Wendel, Dominic Wendel and Marissa Wendel; loving great grandmother of many; sister of many deceased brothers and sisters; aunt to many.

Funeral Service 12 noon, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor.

Visitation 10 am – 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial at Mentor Cemetery.

Donations can be made in her name to your church or local food bank of choice.

    To the Wendel Family, I always remember from the very first time meeting Mrs Wendel she always had a very big smile on her face and always one of the nicest people I have every met.
