William J. Janke Sr., age 80 of Cleveland, passed away March 31, 2019 at Metrohealth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. William was in the insurance industry for 60 years and was a lifelong business partner, companion, and loving best friend of the late Linda Jean Nemeth. He was the owner and president of William J. Janke Insurance Agency. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

William is the loving father of Renee Carter and William J. (Tina) Janke Jr.; beloved poppie of Mandy and Ashley Franz, Tray, Aspen and Brianna Janke and the late Andrew Janke; great grand poppie of Savanna Janke; brother of the late Phyllis Cinotti; brother in law of Joe Cinotti; uncle of many.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday, April 4, 2019 at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (which is located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home). Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Friday at Community of the Holy Spirit, 36600 Stevens Blvd., Willoughby. Private Burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Services.
